Please follow these instructions to subscribe to the calendar in Outlook on Windows:
- Copy the calendar link.
- Switch to the calendar view in Outlook.
- Right click My calendars (or Other calendars), select Add calendar, select From Internet.
- In the dialogue that pops up, paste the calendar link.
- Approve the subscription.
The calendar is now available in Outlook. Check the checkbox besides the new calendar to view it.

The lecture will summarise Prof. Fredrik Charpentier Ljungqvist's preliminary findings from two forthcoming articles, both part of his interdisciplinary project “Disentangling socio-political and climatic factors for food insecurity in early modern Europe (c. 1500–1800)”.

"clash of civilizations" idea promoted by the Harvard political scientist Samuel Huntington with the theory of “superethnos” proposed by the Soviet historian, ethnographer and geographer Lev Gumilev.
